First aid for children - learning to help by playing We are on board!

What should I do in case of burns, a tick bite or poisoning? And above all: How can I help others in an emergency? Country Commisioner Michael Köberle and K&L Verlag have set themselves the goal of providing child-friendly answers to these questions and have published an easy-to-understand coloring and activity book for girls and boys in primary school. We think: That's a good thing!

That's why we support the project

The book, with many pictures to color, teaches the skills to be able to provide first aid in emergencies in a playful way. It tells the story of siblings Mario and Olivia, who lead us through various episodes together with their dachshund Waldi. In 32 pages, they give tips and advice on burns, heatstroke, tick bites, poisoning or shocks. This way, children receive age-appropriate knowledge to behave properly in case of emergency and to be able to call for help. At the same time, educators, caregivers, and parents can discuss and practice the illustrations with the children.

Thanks to the support of many local companies, the coloring and activity books can be distributed free of charge to primary school children in the Limburg-Weilburg district. This is an engagement that we are very happy to support.
